Martin Johnson

Martin Johnson finished his specialist education in maxillofacial prosthetics at Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists & Technologists in England in 1995. He then started working at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Malmö University Hospital, where he two years later became head of the dept of Facial Prosthetics. During this time, he also started the Ocular Prosthetic dept at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, where he is a part of the ocular-plasticsurgical reconstructive team, and involved in the clinic’s research within this field.
Martin Johnson has been lecturing abroad at several occasions. He was invited to Japan, where he taught others working with facial prosthetics. Japanese colleagues also trained with Martin Johnson during his time at Malmö University Hospital.
