All children are different and must be treated as such. We simply have to accept that it takes time, and not feel pressed if further appointments are needed.
Children must be allowed to be children, but sometimes we need to do things that may not seem like a lot of fun – make imprints and try out the prosthesis, for instance. We sometimes need the help of a parent with procedures that can be a bit unpleasant. Nothing we do here is painful, but just like some children dislikes brushing their teeth, some dislikes having an imprint taken. These discomforts are, however, very brief, and as children are so resilient they can easily pounce upon one of the toys in our waiting room, mere seconds after the procedure.
